A few weeks ago, the showrunner of Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of The Witcher series announced her hiatus from Twitter after the tremendous backlash concerning the casting of Ciri. Now, Lauren S. Hissrich returned to the social media platform with big news about the upcoming series.
In a tweet posted recently, Hissrich showed off the work that she’s been doing for the season finale of The Witcher, which is currently titled episode #108, confirming earlier reports that the first season of the upcoming show would comprise of eight episodes.
This latest development came a week after she temporarily departed Twitter saying that, “The love here is amazing, and the hate is enlightening, like a real-life Trial of the Grasses, except I HAVE to read less and write more or we won’t have a damn finale.” Well, it seems that her brief disappearance from social media got the job done.
