During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct event, a new Kirby game was announced and it is going to be a 3D adventure! Nintendo also confirmed that Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be available in Spring of 2022. That means we won’t be waiting much longer before for we have our favorite floating airheaded power-stealer back with a whole new journey!
Giving a full two minutes to this announcement, we got to see bits of story, environment, and gameplay all in one fully packed trailer. They show off a variety of enemies and the power they give Kirby when swallowed, scenery that features lushes plant life and bright colorful neon indoors, and a glimpse of one of the many boss battles to come. They are introducing new powers and there are sure to be plenty more to find.
From becoming a ball of spikes to swinging a sword, this trailer alone deserves the hype that is sure to follow it. So much was shown off for Kirby and the Forgotten Land yet it left viewers wanting more!
