As an ongoing series, Asterix & Obelix has been known for its adventure gameplay style. Now the series has a new developer, Mr. Nutz Studio, working with publisher Microids to bring a whole new style. This time, players will be focusing on the action in Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! as it brings the series into the Beat ‘Em Up genre! Whether playing solo or with a friend beside you, there is nothing but combat awaiting you this time.
In the year 50 B.C. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely... One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders. With everything falling apart, it is up to our two heroes to travel all around the world to fight the Roman Empire. Will you be able to fight back against the Romans trying to take control?
Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! is coming to PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on December 2nd (despite the trailer below giving the original date of November 25th). There will also be a Limited and Collector’s Edition of the game for those that are fans of the series.
