Nexon Games’ upcoming co-op looter shooter The First Descendant has released a new cinematic story trailer to give some background on the game ahead of the Steam beta starting Thursday, October 20. The trailer shares new lore and background details for fans of the upcoming sci-fi shooter, and features scenes that will appear in the game and beta.
Giving context to the struggle of humanity, the trailer explains how humans were defeated a century ago by the Vulgus, invaders from another world. The Vulgus were followed by the Colossi to decimate civilization, just as humanity found hope for the future. Using reawakened ancestors’ power, Descendants fought back with new strength to save their world.
The upcoming beta will have a total of 10 unlockable characters, each with its own unique abilities. If you are interested in playing, sign up on the Steam page as the space is limited.
