Triangle Strategy is almost here, and to celebrate the impending release Square Enix has released a new demo for the game on Nintendo Switch. This updated demo will allow players to play through the first three chapters of the tactics game, experiencing the story from the very beginning. It will also feature save crossover to the final title, so any progress made in the demo will carry over should players pick up the full game.
Triangle Strategy is the latest game from producer Tomoya Asano, who previously worked on Octopath Traveler, and Artdink, the developers behind the A-Train series. Triangle Strategy boasts a tactics style of combat where players control several units on the battlefield, and each unit’s position and range determine the type of actions they can perform.
On their journey, players will have the opportunity to recruit new allies to their cause, but not every potential soldier can be recruited in a single playthrough. Dialogue choices allot points into specific ideologies that certain characters might disagree with, and impactful decisions at key moments in Triangle Strategy’s narrative will alter the world and story in permanent ways.
The Triangle Strategy Prologue Demo is available now for all Nintendo Switch owners through the Nintendo Switch eShop. Triangle Strategy will launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on March 4th, 2022.
