Bringing an interesting way to enjoy a music-based rhythm game late last year was the developers at Rayark Inc. and their publisher Unties Games as they launched Deemo -Reborn- exclusively on PlayStation 4 with standard and PSVR playability options. Of course, this isn’t the first Deemo game, but this is the first to be available only on one platform and include a virtual reality version. But these developers weren’t finished when they launched their latest game in the series as they have been adding more and more songs to the beloved music game featuring a melancholic setting.
Now reaching a total of 65 additional songs, they have released the newest DLC titled and featuring EGOIST. This new pack will include five songs from the Japanese duo, including “All Alone With You,” “Planetes,” “Ghost of a Smile,” “Kimi Sora Kiseki” and “Anata ni Okuru Ai no Uta.” Chances are, if you are in the Western hemisphere like me, that you probably don’t know these songs, but they are set up to challenge players of all skill levels in both standard and PSVR setups.
As a culture of people who have enjoyed multiple music games, many of which feature a variety of lovable songs from the Eastern hemisphere that most of us couldn’t honestly tell you what it is about, I think this new pack is worth checking out. Besides the fact that you can get all of the music at a discounted rate currently, the EGOIST pack is completely free until April 19th! That gives you just about one whole month to pick up this pack for free.
For those of you interested in Deemo -Reborn- but have yet to properly check it out, here’s their latest trailer for you to watch before heading to the PS Store to grab your digital copy and free DLC.
