The upcoming sci-fi roguelike action horror game Demon Spore has just dropped a new gameplay trailer that really shows off what’s in store for players. Developer DinoBoss is showing off the progress they’ve made in this game’s creation and it is really starting to look like a dark game full of very intense situations.
They have been working on making the lab more interactable. They are in the process of making every single lab item or machine useful in some way. Switch on a noisy centrifuge to distract the creature and draw it towards it. Turn the climate control to maximum freeze and slow down the creature's movement. Grab a computer monitor and smash it and create electrical sparks that can start a fire. Also, smaller items like flammable chemicals and acid can be thrown to create dangerous areas the creature can’t grow through. Overall, they are focusing on increasing the player's options within a room for fighting or escaping. Players will need to be observant and think fast to use the lab equipment to their advantage.
There’s still no release date yet, but Demon Spore is planned to launch on PC via Steam. What do you think about this game’s progress so far?
