With nearly 15 years passing since the original Mass Effect, BioWare and EA have decided to celebrate the anniversary by publishing a new blog post that outlines a lot of upcoming information. Most exciting is the news of the newest Mass Effect game.
Currently deep in pre-production we get the news that development is progressing as planned and that they are currently on track with their internal deadline. We are also made aware that there has been some growth in the development team's numbers which will hopefully result in a higher-quality final product. We are also introduced to some key members of the team such as Project Director: Mike Gamble, Senior Development Director: Danielle Enns, Senior Narrative Director: Mary De Marle, and Franchise Creative Director: Parrish Ley as they continue their work on the newest entry.
Some other news we are shown that is slightly less exciting is the new crossover between Mass Effect and Sims 4 with wearable Mass Effect-themed items coming on November 17. We also get to see some new N7 Day merch available online and concept art from the Next Mass Effect Team.
It was really cool to see some of the new updates for the game but we really didn’t get anything concrete to cling onto. Unfortunately, we most likely won’t see much from the new Mass Effect game for quite some time since they are still in pre-production. Let us know down below what you thought of the blog post and whether it has satiated your Mass Effect thirst for the time being.
