In the midst of the Pokemon Go craze, we almost forgot that we have a new handheld Pokemon game on the way! Pokemon Sun and Moon got a new trailer today and it looks like what this game lacks in a full lineup of new Pokemon, it makes up for with new gameplay elements.

Granted, some of them are silly, but some look to be game changers for the genre! It's kind of hard to lay out exactly what we saw because of the type of commercial, but here's my best guesses...

4 player Battle Royale?: All we see is 4 players with a Pokemon each on the board. Earlier in the trailer you see all 4 trainers are equipped with 3 Pokemon. Perhaps this means co-op double battles are every man for himself? Seems like a strange way to play...
Animations look further polished. We see that you now will surf, charge...etc on the Pokemon you equip to.
We see all the games previously announced Pokemon with the addition of Eevee and Khangaskhan.
Roaming around on an island is fun and trading Pokemon is still a thing...

That's about all I was able to grab from this trailer, what about you? Only 4 months away from the game's launch!
