FARSIDERS is a new upcoming indie action hack-and-slash RPG from developers Gambit Ghost Studio in Thailand. In the game, players will embark upon a journey as the main character Cassie to the past where Arthurian legend and sci-fi elements combine into a wonderous mix of magic and technology. FARSIDERS just finished its Alpha 2 test and has received lots of positive responses and feedback from players. In addition, Gambit Ghost Studio has just released a gameplay trailer highlighting how the magic action slash gameplay will work.
FARSIDERS story is about Cassandra, or Cassie, the youngest member of the Spectralon, who unexpectedly encounters the notorious terrorist group known as The Soul Syndicate. A twist of events occurs when the syndicate's leader utilizes dark magic to open a mysterious portal, transporting Cassie through time into a mythical realm. In this ancient legendary kingdom, Cassie must embark on a mission to halt the Soul Syndicate's nefarious plans. To do so she will face down legendary historical villains using a variable arsenal of magic spell cards and fighting skills. The question is if Cassie will be able to save the world or not.
FARSIDERS is available to wishlist now on PC via Steam and will release sometime soon at an unannounced date. The beta will release on June 28th.
