At this year's G-Star event in Seoul, South Korea players were able to demo a brand new looter shooter with an original IP and state-of-the-art graphics.

Developed as an original IP from Nexon, the looter shooter The First Descendants is a new highly anticipates third-person shooter that takes players on a thrilling adventure. Through the story of the game, the player becomes a Descendant who is tasked with fighting alien invaders for the survival of humanity. The First Descendants boasts a thrilling fully playable story upon launch and contains a number of interesting overall features that might be just what the looter shooter genre to stay afloat. Some of these features include 4 player-cooperative play, a cast of divers and unique characters to play as, huge monster boss battles, a dynamic battle system, and much more.

The looter shooter genre is something that has attracted a lot of negative attention in the past and has left the genre as a whole just waiting for a title to really nail the formula.
