Developer Hamster has been re-releasing games from their SNK catalog, this time, they’re bringing the 90’s brawler Ninja Combat to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Launched initially in arcades and on the home Neo Geo format back in the 90’s, Ninja Combat served as the launch title for the platform. The game allows up to two players to scroll through New York City, taking down villains and ultimately defeating boss characters to end the evil reign of the Shadow Family.
Ninja Combat takes players to the journey of ninja heroes Joe and Hayabusa as they traverse their way against endless attacks from Kage Ichizoku and their army. Joe and Hayabusa use shurikens as their primary weapon, but they can also use alternatives such as nunchakus, maces, battle axes, spiked clubs, ratchets and katana swords.
Ninja Combat is now available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch for a price of $8.
