Ninja Gaiden 3 has the distinct honor of being one of the worst games in the Ninja Gaiden franchise. When it originally released for Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2012. After such a negative reception Team Nija went back to the drawing board and revised and expanded nearly the entire game into Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge which released exclusively on the Nintendo Wii U at launch. This exclusivity lasted nearly 6 months before the better version of Ninja Gaiden 3 finally made its way to the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Now Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge is slashing its way onto another platform with the Xbox One. Through the Xbox One backwards compatibility program players can now experience the entirety of Ryu Hayabusa’s journey on their modern platform! It doesn’t look like Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge has received Xbox One X specific enhancements like its to predecessors however. Owners of 4K sets be aware that you won’t have the same visual fidelity throughout your journey. Still, it is awesome when an entire series becomes playable on a single console and backwards compatibility has been an awesome feature for Xbox this generation. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge will also be accompanied by Trials Evolution as the newest member of Xbox One back compat!
