In case you missed it a video has been making its way through the net showing an exceptionally unprofessional occurrence. During a Mario Kart 8: Deluxe live stream for the Russian Level Up Days event, Nintendo of Russia President Yasha Haddaji, was caught on camera and microphone berating and arguing with employees and vendors for the event. Numerous derogatory terms can be heard as well as various expletives hurled at those in the room. Since this video has been making the rounds, numerous allegations of sexual harassment have also been brought forward against Haddaji. Most of the claims of abuse and harassment had to be made confidentially as the influence Haddaji has leaves many people scared they will never find work in the industry again. It seems that Nintendo has finally had enough and is stepping in! In a statement given to Eurogamer, Nintendo had this to say.

We are aware of a video uploaded to YouTube recently in which Nintendo Russia’s General Manager, Yasha Haddaji, is seen losing his temper during an altercation with an external vendor in charge of a Mario Kart livestream. Mr Haddaji’s conduct and choice of words are most certainly not in line with our company values.

We are also aware of further allegations that have appeared in the wake of this video and are now running a thorough investigation. We take these matters extremely seriously and will not comment further while we are running our investigation.

Since this statement was give a new video has been posted asking for people around the world to continue bringing this news to light. The creator of the video fears that Since haddaji has friends in high places over at Nintendo of Europe the situation might get swept under the rug like a previous incident back in 2013. I personally hope Nintendo fans and employees in Russia get the justice they deserve and wish Nintendo the best during the course of their investigation.
