During its initial year, the Nintendo Switch saw several successful triple A games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey. However, on March 22, Nintendo is giving indie developers a chance to shine to showcase their indie games, or "Nindies", coming to the Nintendo Switch. The live video presentation will take place on Tuesday, 9am PT 12pm ET.

Wargroove, Runner 3, and Kentucky Route Zero are just some of the indie titles that will be showcased by Nintendo. The last Nindies Showcase featured 20 games last August, so we can more or less expect the same number of titles for this year’s presentation.
It seems that Nintendo is taking the initiative on not just courting major third party developers, but highlighting the importance of indie studios as well. Furthermore, the Nintendo Switch is quickly becoming the go-to platform for indie developers who wants to introduce their game to the market, thanks to the high popularity of the console.
