If you haven’t been following along with the announcements and ongoing development of Back 4 Blood, then here’s your final notice to check it out! With the game launching in just two months, Turtle Rock Studios and Warner Bros Games are giving all players a chance to try out their upcoming game. Last weekend, players who received a special invite or pre-ordered the game had their first chance to play, but this weekend all players are able to access the open beta until August 16th.
Whether you are playing on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X|S, the open beta is available to you. It features cross-play and cross-gen capability, so you’ll be able to team up with your friends across the board. Plus, it has two full acts to experience the co-op story mode and two maps to experience the Swarm, or competitive, mode.
After this weekend, the game will be locked up to be finished by the developers and they will likely make adjustments to the game based on the user feedback from these open beta sessions. Who knows? Maybe you’ll want to claim your copy of the game after trying it out! After trying the alpha a few months back, our first impression definitely confirms that they are bringing an updated version of their previous Left 4 Dead series.
