Publisher PQube has announced the physical release, both Standard and Collector’s Edition, of MassHive Media’s healer-sim RPG Potion Permit, for the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Playstation 5.
Potion Permit puts the player in control of an accomplished chemist from the Medical Association who has arrived to help the residents of the peaceful little town of Moonbury with their potion-brewing skills. Gameplay involves aiding initially skeptical citizens with their various illnesses and issues by gathering ingredients, hunting monsters, brewing potions, and curing their ailments. This can all be done with the aid of said chemist’s faithful dog, who will also help collect hidden items.
It’s not all business, however, as Potion Permit allows for the budding apothecary to go out and make friends with thirty different townsfolk and even grow the town from its humble beginnings to a bustling village with more useful, potion-making facilities.
The Collector’s Edition will include a physical copy of the game, an acrylic standee, an artbook, and a certificate to commemorate service to Moonbury, all inside a Collector’s Edition box.
Potion Permit’s physical edition will be available for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Playstation 5. The Standard and Collector’s Edition can be pre-ordered now from Funstock. Digital editions will also be available for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
