After the success and large interest in pirate-based titles such as Sea of Thieves comes a new title. Hoping to prove to be more entertaining and full of much more adventure is the pirate MMORPG title Atlas. Instinct Games, the developers of the also popular title Ark: Survival Evolved, have teamed up with Grapeshot Games to bring a world that can simultaneously hold over 40,000 players in one massive world for endless action packed, pirate adventures!
After their initial reveal trailer at The Game Awards 2018 we were expecting to be already traveling the lands within the world, but there was a slight delay that pushed it back one week. Luckily the delay was only one week as delays are often leaving anticipating players waiting for months beyond the originally announced date. Check out the reveal trailer:
The range of freedom that will be available for players within just the early access include: construct custom ships, search for buried treasure, siege and conquer fortresses, plunder travelling merchants and recruit a crew to join your powerful Armada as you engage in the ultimate quest for fortune and glory! This is only the beginning of what could ideally be the best pirate game to date.
