Planet Apocalypse is a big game. In my review, I discussed how expansive the post-apocalyptic fight is. With all of the expansions—the extra heroes who defend the world and the extra demons that terrorize it—the game becomes a sprawling epic that oozes character.
And Petersen games is going to make it even bigger. Planet Apocalypse is returning to Kickstarter on September 21st. The campaign will feature both the second rendition of the dice-rolling, demon-slaying tabletop gorefest but also Planet Apocalypse, the 5e sourcebook.
So the board game gets more expansion—with maps, heroes, and demons—but now there is also the RPG supplement that can extend your time in the world through roleplaying adventures.
The newsletter from Petersen Games gives regular updates on the upcoming games like Planet Apocalypse, but it also reveals exclusive looks at art, miniatures, and other game design features from the Design Corner with Sandy Petersen.
