It has never been a better time to be a Viking.
If you have ever been on the fence about picking up the latest entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, then this weekend is the time to test it out. Ubisoft is allowing all players to be able to download Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for free and play it for a limited time.
Eager players have from February 24th – 28th to play one of the most critically acclaimed entries in the series. This is a great time to give the title a go, considering Ubisoft will be releasing its meaty expansion Dawn of Ragnarok on March 10th. In this upcoming expansion, the game takes on a mythological twist, taking players on a journey that will embrace the legendary Viking saga and allow them to unleash powers to defeat their foes.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla marks the series’ very first Free Weekend. All players can play the game for free until February 28th on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Stadia and PC via Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Progress will carry over for the player if they purchase the game when the Free Weekend is over.
