The PlayStation 5 Pro just got revealed by Sony, and it seems like a significant upgrade over its precessor as many were expecting. The console is set to launch November 7th and will be priced at $699 for the digital version, and there is no disk version, which means you will have to buy the disc drive accessory separate for a $99 price tag, bringing it to $799. .
The console features significantly improved performance and is overall a faster and better product that aims to further enrich the PlayStation gaming experience.
We finally have games capable of hitting Fiedelity (4K) at 60FPS, and better detail in graphics with games in performance mode, without having to sacrifice frames for visuals.
The console will also launch with a 2TB SSD, as per PlayStation Blog Post. and while PlayStation has not talked about a physical drive PS5 Pro, they do mention that the disc drive can be bought separately.
The bigger question on everyone’s minds now is whether the system will have an advantage with Rockstars Grand Theft Auto 6 when it releases next year.
For now, I feel the price is excessive, especially for a digital only version.
