This morning, The Pokemon Company took to Twitter to announce a new trailer for the next installments in the Pokemon series, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. The announcement reveals that the new trailer will debut tomorrow morning, but doesn’t offer any information on what to expect in the video other than that it will provide fans with “the latest on Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.”
The last we heard about the new generation of games was when they were first revealed back in February of this year. The reveal trailer showed off a colorful new region filled with wild Pokémon and promised to offer a true, open-world experience with seamless transitions between wilderness and city locales. It also gave players their first look at the new starters for Scarlet and Violet: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
This video will give players their first, in-depth look at Scarlet and Violet, and it could outline some of the new and returning features coming with these latest entries. Fans have been eager to see more of how this new, open-world system will work in a Pokemon game, and there’s a whole new generation of Pokemon to show off as well.
Look out for the new trailer dropping tomorrow at 6 AM PT/9 AM ET on The Official Pokémon YouTube Channel. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are slated to launch sometime in 2022 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
