When a game is in early access, it is great to see it getting updated regularly by the developers. Second Extinction is one title that gets updates on a regular enough basis that developers Systemic Reaction send them out as Pre-Seasons. Reaching Pre-Season 7, this co-op dinosaur shooter game has a new weapon, new seasonal contracts and rewards, and a host of other improvements.
All together, Pre-Season 7 features:
New Secondary Weapon -- Hand Cannon
New seasonal contracts and rewards
Horde Mode extraction is now possible from Wave 4
Basic Training (tutorial) is now the first mission for new players (but you can skip it, too)
Balance changes to all player equipment
This update was free for users on both PC via Steam and Epic Games, and the Xbox platforms. If you haven’t tried this game out but enjoy co-op shooter titles, then you might want to get a first impression of the game while it is in early access. There are still more updates to come as Second Extinction continues to progress closer to a finished title.
