Its design has received a mixed response, but it did show that Game Freak is open to creating new Mega forms.
Now, a new leak might offer something exciting for longtime fans. A potential design for Mega Victreebel has appeared online, and this one may be more than just fan art:
The image was first shared on a Chinese forum and was initially thought to be a fan-made creation. However, it began gaining attention when BallGuy, a trusted and well-known figure in the Pokémon leak community, commented on it. According to them, the artwork is very close to the actual in-game design, with only a few small differences. This matches an earlier description that had leaked about Mega Victreebel’s appearance, which adds more weight to the image's credibility.
While the community remains cautious, the general response has been very positive. Many are hoping the leak is real and that more official reveals are on the way. For now, all we can do is wait and see what Game Freak has in store.
