PUBG Says No Mor Chicken Dinners on Xbox One and PS4 As It Drops Support

PUBG (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) was one of the catalysts for the modern day Battle Royale formula. It was clunky and unoptimized but was it fun. Unfortunately Krafton has decided to move their game to greener pastures and has officially declared the end of support for the Xbox One and PS4 version of the game.

As of November 13, 2025, there will be no more patches or support for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game according to an official post on their website. This also means that players will not be able to play those versions of the game again.

PUBG will solely be on the PS5, PC and Xbox Series consoles, which is also set to drop on November 13th. Here are the details of what those versions could look like on the current-gen consoles.

It’s good that PUBG is finally getting the hardware it deserves and perhaps this could be a second chance for the IP.
