PUNCH-OUT Joins the Switch's Arcade Archives

Nintendo Switch owners are in for yet another nostalgic treat as another classic game joins the Arcade Archives. Punch-Out is the latest arcade game introduced in the eShop, which you can pick up right now.

Arcade Archives: Punch-Out released yesterday, March 30 in all regions for the Nintendo Switch. The game was originally released on arcade machines back in 1984. Punch-Out is famous for its two-screen setup that is a wee bit similar to the 3DS. The top screen would show the player’s stats, while the fight itself takes place at the bottom screen. The Switch version of the game still retains the dual screen mode but added an option allowing players to switch between vertical or side-by-side screens.

Punch-Out is priced similarly as the other previously released Arcade Archives game, that will cost players $8. It arrived in the eShop yesterday together with other games such as Alteric, Devious Dungeon, Farm Expert 2018, Gotcha Racing 2nd, Shadow Bug, and Toki Tori.
