A few days ago, Microsoft revealed the latest roster of free games for its Xbox Live Gold subscribers this month. April’s lineup is filled with diverse games from complicated puzzlers, to adrenaline-pumping action-adventure games to sci-fi horror titles.
First on the list is The Witness for Xbox One, which will be up for grabs from April 1st to 30th. The Witness is a puzzle game which was previously exclusive to the PlayStation 4. Players can expect challenging puzzles that will take them hours to solve and the game is also a fantastic title to play with friends and family who can help you solve The Witness’ numerous puzzles.
Next up is Assassin’s Creed Syndicate for the Xbox One, which is the last game before the series reboot with Origins. Syndicate revolves around two assassins, who find themselves in the center of London during the dark era of Jack the Ripper. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is available to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers from April 16th until May 15th.

In case you missed last month’s lineup, the game Superhot, is still available for the Xbox One until April 15. Superhot is a classic shooter game with a twist wherein time will only move when the player does.
