Kontinuing the Mortal Kombat 1 - Kombat Pack 1, we have our second character to be released. Just as I expected we get our first in-universe character. We first got Omni-Man now we get Quan Chi, an evil sorcerer who took the side of Shang Tsung. I predict that the Kombat Pack releases will follow this pattern of one in-universe and one guest character alternating.
Just like in the Omni-Man reveal we also got to see the reveal of a new Kameo Fighter, this time in the form, or should I say forms, of Khameleon. Quan Chi has a whole new moveset this time around, nothing like we’ve ever seen before. He comes with portals and a giant space monster??? I don’t know, and I’m not going to question it, it’s awesome. Quan Chi looks like he’s going to be a ton of fun at his release which is very soon. Khameleon looks to be excactly what she is, a chameleon. She looks to be a copy-cat of Jade, Mileena, and Kitana, appearing in a different color depending on the move she’s using. I think both fighters look very fun and kreative, and I hope that this trend kontinues with the upcoming releases.
Quan Chi will be available for Early Access on December 14th, and full release on December 21st. Khameleon will join the Kameo roster sometime in January.
