Quick Review Roundup: KAMRUI H1 Mini PC, Vampire Crawlers, Little Nightmares VR, and More!

NOTE FROM THE EDITOR: We here at GameTyrant have been absolutely bombarded with so many products and games this year already. We will be rolling out select quick reviews to let our audience know about products, games, and, DLC that may have slipped under their radar. We appreciate the amazing support from all publishers and developers out there!

KAMRUI H1 Mini PC

Every once in a while, a piece of hardware comes along that genuinely surprises you, and the KAMRUI H1 Mini PC is exactly that. This compact little machine packs an extraordinary amount of power and punch into a form factor that practically disappears on your desk.

Whether you're looking for a full desktop replacement, a capable light gaming rig, or an emulation powerhouse that can tear through retro libraries without breaking a sweat, the H1 delivers on every front with rock-solid build quality to match.

It's rare that we walk away from a review this impressed, but the KAMRUI H1 has earned every bit of praise. The flexibility on offer here is remarkable and this isn't a one-trick pony that handles basic tasks and calls it a day. It genuinely punches well above its weight class in nearly every scenario we threw at it. If you're in the market for a mini PC, stop looking. This is one of the best we've ever tested, and we can't recommend it highly enough.

ARZOPA Z3FC Portable Gaming Monitor

ARZOPA has been on a tear lately, and the Z3FC continues the company's impressive streak of delivering outstanding portable gaming monitors. With a crisp 1440p resolution and a buttery-smooth 180Hz refresh rate, this display is a perfect companion for your PS5, Xbox, Steam Deck, Switch 2, or really any device you want to hook up to it. The picture quality is genuinely fantastic and while not the heights of OLED, colors pop, motion is fluid, and the overall visual experience punches far above what you'd expect from a portable panel.

Build quality is another area where ARZOPA continues to impress. This isn't a flimsy screen you're afraid to toss in a bag at all, it feels solid and well-constructed in hand. For gamers who need a quality display on the go or simply want a dedicated second screen for console gaming without committing to a full-sized monitor, the Z3FC is an easy recommendation. ARZOPA clearly understands what portable gaming enthusiasts want, and they keep delivering it!

Vampire Crawlers

Let's be honest here for a just a moment: A turn-based roguelite deckbuilder from the creators of Vampire Survivors doesn't exactly set the imagination on fire when you read the description. On paper, it sounds like a strange departure from the chaotic, real-time action that made its predecessor a phenomenon. But here's the thing: Vampire Crawlers absolutely nails the execution. Once you start playing, you'll understand. The loop is addictive, the mechanics are surprisingly deep, and before you know it, hours have vanished and you're whispering "just one more run" to yourself at two in the morning. Well, maybe 4 in the morning.

Lightning has struck twice for this team. Vampire Crawlers is one of those games that consumes you completely. Every run feels meaningful, every decision carries weight, and the deckbuilding mechanics mesh beautifully with the roguelite structure. Best of all, it comes at an extremely fair price, making it one of the easiest recommendations in recent memory.

Don't let the genre mashup on the store page fool you. Buy it. Now. You'll thank us later. We promise. One of the best modern gaming values in the industry is upon us.

Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes

There's something special about discovering a beloved series later than everyone else like what’s happened with me. You get to experience all the magic at once, and Little Nightmares is a series overflowing with it. Altered Echoes brings that dark, atmospheric world into VR, and the pairing is nothing short of inspired. The eerie environments, the creeping tension, and the clever puzzles all hit differently when you're physically immersed in them. If you've ever wondered what it would feel like to actually inhabit the unsettling world of Little Nightmares, this is your answer. Yes, VR is still a niche platform, and yes, the install base is smaller than traditional gaming. But that's no reason to sleep on what is genuinely one of the most compelling VR experiences available right now.

The dark, twisted puzzle design that defines the series translates beautifully into virtual reality, creating moments of wonder and dread in equal measure. VR and Little Nightmares? While not perfect with a few snags here and there, It turns out they're a lovely match, one that every VR headset owner should experience.

Sea of Stars (iOS)

Sea of Stars was already a wonderful game on console and PC, but its arrival on iOS and mobile feels like the version it was always meant to have. It looks gorgeous on mobile devices, it plays like a dream with responsive and intuitive controls, and it runs fantastically well, with no stuttering, no compromises, just a polished RPG experience in the palm of your hand.

Add in a fair price point, and you've got one of the best mobile gaming values available right now. Whether you're a returning player looking for an excuse to dive back in or a newcomer experiencing the game for the first time, the iOS version of Sea of Stars is an absolute treat.

It's the kind of port that proves mobile gaming can deliver premium experiences when developers put in the care and effort. It’s not a perfect RPG and some may find some of the pacing off but really, there’s very little not to love here. It's a fantastic game at a fantastic price on a platform that lets you take it anywhere. That's about as good as it gets.

Dimensional Double Shift VR (And DLC)

Here's the beautiful thing about VR gaming: Every now and then you stumble onto a title you've never heard of, and it completely blows you away. Dimensional Double Shift is exactly that kind of hidden gem. Playing alongside one of the developers and the PR team was an absolute blast, and the experience only reinforced how much fun this game is when you're sharing it with others. The Sporelando DLC adds even more content to an already packed experience, giving players plenty of reasons to keep coming back.

This is VR multiplayer done right. Dimensional Double Shift is the kind of game you want to pull your friends and family into. While some of the controls were definitely a struggle, generally, it's accessible, it's a ton of fun, and it has that magical quality where everyone in the room is laughing and having a great time. With the base game and the Sporelando and other DLC together, there's a wealth of content here that makes it one of the strongest social VR experiences you can find. Highly recommended for anyone with a headset and people to play with!

Borderlands 4 — Story Pack 1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned DLC

Let's get one thing straight right off the bat: This DLC is fun! It's well-crafted, it's entertaining, and it fits right into the Borderlands 4 experience with the kind of irreverent energy the series is known for. Mad Ellie is a great character to build a story pack around, and the Vault of the Damned delivers solid content for fans who are hungry for more. If you love Borderlands, and especially if you're enjoying Borderlands 4, there's plenty to like here.

But, and this is a significant but: The price is simply too steep for what you're getting. This is a good DLC being sold at a super premium price point, and that's a tough pill to swallow when the content, while enjoyable, doesn't quite justify the cost of entry.

It's the kind of situation where the recommendation comes with an asterisk: absolutely pick this up, but wait for a sale. Your wallet will thank you, and the experience will feel a whole lot sweeter at a discount. Can’t wait to see more for Borderlands 4 but hopefully this pricing exercise will be noted.

Crystalfall

There's something admirable about a passionate development team putting out a free-to-play ARPG and inviting the community in. Crystalfall has genuine fun to offer with the core gameplay loop has its hooks, and you can absolutely have a good time digging into what the team has built without spending a dime. For a free title, there's enough here to warrant giving it a shot, especially if you're curious and looking for something new to try in the genre.

That said, the experience is held back by some notable rough edges. Server stability on the backend remains an issue, and a general lack of polish keeps Crystalfall from reaching the heights it's clearly aiming for. In a genre that's home to some incredibly strong free-to-play options, those shortcomings are hard to overlook. It's not a bad game by any means in fact, there's heart and ambition behind it but players looking for a polished free ARPG experience will likely find better options elsewhere in an increasingly competitive space.
