QUICK REVIEW ROUNDUP: Lies of P: Overture, Diablo Immortal Druid, System Shock 2, and More!

Another week, another avalanche of quality games, products, and fun! We sure appreciate the devs and producers of all the items featured today. We recognize and appreciate all the hard work and dedication that goes into producing games and other products so while our reviews may be brief, we want to get the word out to get out there for those who may not be aware of said items or they prefer not to read boring, wordy articles.

Enough about the relentless onslaught of awesome stuff, let us proceed!

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster

The System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster captures every bit of the tension and atmosphere that made the original a classic, lovingly polished for a new generation. The passion of the developers shines through every menu screen, texture, and environmental sound effect. We had the chance to interview the team, and it’s evident how much they respect the source material and its legacy. Props to the Nightdive wizards for an absolute masterpiece!

While I wouldn’t have minded a few more bold upgrades, that isn’t what this remaster is about — it’s about making an already brilliant game timeless. The result is a faithful, meticulously tuned experience that shines brighter than ever, making this version a must-have for both long-time fans and newcomers.

Lies of P: Overture DLC

While we are a little late to the game, Lies of P: Overture delivers an absolutely mesmerizing experience, with its painstaking attention to detail making every corner of its beautifully twisted world worth exploring. The level design shines with atmosphere and style, complemented by amazing graphics that hold up in every scene. The boss battles are challenging but always feel fair, rewarding persistence and precision.

What truly sets the game apart is the passion of its developers. It’s clear from the meticulous craftsmanship that this is a team at the top of its game, pouring their hearts into every encounter and environment. This is one of the best studios working today, and I can’t wait to see where their talents take them next.

Diablo Immortal Druid Update

Love it or hate it, Diablo Immortal just keeps getting better and if you haven’t tried it as of late, whether on mobile or PC, DO IT. Just when you thought the game couldn’t get any better, the Druid arrives (July 3rd) and completely redefines the game. We got an early build and this is hands-down the best Druid class I’ve ever played in any ARPG — every shift from beast to caster feels incredibly rewarding. The update is packed with a sense of empowerment and brutal flair that only the best action roleplaying can deliver.

It’s no accident this came from one of the best teams working in the genre. We interviewed the passionate developers, and their love for the craft shines through every new animation and mechanic. The Druid is more than a class addition — it’s a testament to how much the team cares, making this one of the best ARPG experiences available today. Yes, I just said that.

Nikon Z50II Camera

I love photography. It’s a relaxing pastime and especially being in nature (!) makes it even better. I want something easy to sue but powerful. The Nikon Z50II shines as an excellent entry point for budding photographers, combining impressive image quality with a sleek, comfortable design. Its ergonomics feel just right in the hand, making it a pleasure to carry and use for long shooting sessions. The camera delivers crisp, rich photos that capture moments beautifully.

That said, the battery life can be limiting, and the lens selection still feels a bit sparse. But for those starting out or looking for a compact, reliable camera that can punch above its weight, the Z50II is an ideal choice — a capable, user-friendly powerhouse that delivers great results every time.

Lepro’s Outdoor Smart Lighting

Game up your outdoor space! Lepro’s Outdoor Smart Lighting delivers a beautifully flexible way to light up your space, regardless of whether you’re trying to match the holidays or your favorite video game character or franchise. The rich colors, seamless app controls, and surprisingly solid build quality make it an absolute steal, especially when you compare it to higher-cost competitors.

This is one of those rare products that punches well above its weight. Lepro has created a smart lighting experience that doesn’t force you to compromise between price and performance, making it ideal for both festive decorators and everyday illumination.

Netherworld Covenant (Early Access)

I love hidden gems and for me, Netherworld Covenant is just that. After spending some quality time with it as of late, it is shaping up to be a genuine masterpiece in the making. Created by a passionate two-person development team, it’s a testament to how much creativity, heart, and hard work can accomplish. The world they’ve built is dripping with atmosphere, and every mechanic feels polished and intentionally designed. What’s most impressive is how easy it is to pick up — within moments you’re drawn into its rich, dark universe, and yet every layer you peel back reveals deeper complexity and rewarding challenges.

More than anything, it’s the addictive nature of Netherworld Covenant that shines. This is one of those rare titles that’s almost impossible to put down, a game that has you saying “just one more run” until the early hours of the morning. The early access version already delivers an experience that rivals fully released titles, and it has left me absolutely hooked. I’ll be watching the bright future of this game very closely — it’s well on its way to becoming an indie gem worth every second you spend in its captivating world.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S (Switch 2)

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S doesn’t revolutionize the genre or the series, but it doesn’t have to. Its colorful, delightful mashup of puzzlers shines just as brightly as ever, making it an absolute blast to play both solo and with friends on the Switch 2. The slight graphical polish and performance improvements only add to the fun. If wish it went a little more daring on the graphical updates but oh well, here we are.

Whether you’re chasing a high score or pitting friends against each other, it’s the timeless mechanics and charming presentation that stand out. The Switch 2 version just feels better across the board — smoother, snappier, and more captivating — making this an ideal pick for puzzler aficionados. I love beating my wife in this every round. Love you Honey ;)

Dungeon Stalkers Playtest

Dungeon Stalkers might be a bit rough around the edges, but it’s shaping up to be a dungeon crawler worth keeping an eye on. The tongue-in-cheek character designs are an absolute blast, making every run feel like a Saturday morning cartoon gone rogue. Its old-school dungeon crawling, deep loot pool, and multiplayer focus work beautifully together, making it as fun with friends as it is going solo.

It’s still very much in its early days, and you can spot a few warts, but the core is solid and charming. The action is satisfying, and the sense of discovery never lets up. Dungeon Stalkers is a quirky, hopeful entry that’s well worth checking out as it develops. Rangers with thongs? Check. Still a lot of quirky fun? Check.
