As promised by Bethesda yesterday after the official announcement of Rage 2, the gets a brief but jam-packed gameplay trailer which is posted above.
The gameplay preview showed Rage 2’s open-world environments, the first time in the series, that includes a dense jungle and vast deserts. Furthermore, the upcoming title showed different factions battling each other. Enemies in the game include gangs equipped with guns and also huge troll-ish enemies.
Bethesda also revealed a few details regarding the game where players will take the role of Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland who poses a threat to the Authority’s power. Walker is robbed of everything he has, including his home, and now he is enraged seeking justice and freedom.
After Bethesda confirmed Rage 2 yesterday, the developer put up a dedicated game page for the upcoming title where it is stated that Rage 2 is being developed by id Software together with Avalanche Studios, the team responsible for Just Cause and Mad Max. Lastly, Bethesda revealed in a press release that Rage 2 would be released sometime next and year and will be released on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
