A month ago, we covered speculation that Red Dead Redemption 2 could be releasing on PC and bringing the massively-popular and critically-acclaimed Western series to desktop gamers for the first time ever. The wait is over. Rockstar has announced that the smash hit is arriving on PC in early November.
In addition to its official launch on PC, Red Dead Redemption 2 will also be a Google Stadia title.
Rockstar’s development efforts with Red Dead Redemption 2 have been applauded critically and commercially, and it makes sense for them to expand to these new spheres of the gaming community. PC owners and Google Stadia early-adopters will be able to immerse themselves in the open-world masterpiece. Rockstar recently mentioned their commitment to Red Dead Online, so there will be endless hours of content for the game.
Overall, this is great news for PC gamers, and Rockstar will certainly benefit from the move as well.
