In both a Facebook and Twitter announcement, Stormind Games has revealed that they are already working the second Remothered survival horror game and expect it to launch in 2020! Teaming up with Modus Games for this one, they also revealed that the title is set to be called Remothered: Going Porcelain.
If you haven’t heard of the first title, Remothered: Tormented Fathers, then you can grab any platform of your choice and look into getting the original survival horror game yourself as they announced it on all consoles, including a promise to bring it to Nintendo Switch within 2019. It was also given a very positive review from us and even chosen as one of Gametyrant’s Top 5 Indie Games of 2018. This isn’t even mentioning the multiple awards it received, such as the recently awarded Best Italian Game 2018 from the Italian Video Game Awards.
They don’t have a trailer for this next chapter in the Remothered series, but if it is anything like the first title then it is worth looking forward to. I am certainly going to be following the development progress for Remothered 2 just as I did for the original Remothered title. This is one of my favorite horror games and found myself going through it multiple times. But knowing how the events unfolded in Tormented Fathers, I can’t even imagine what the story for Going Porcelain will hold!
Another positive note about this announcement is that we can expect to see this new title launched on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch within a much closer time frame. Seeing how they have their first title on all platforms, they are sure to launch the second title of the Remothered series on all the platforms as well. Now we just wait for the official trailer to verify the platform list and their promised launch year, 2020.
