A couple months back there were rumors swirling that Zelda: Breath Of The Wild would not be completed in time to meet the launch of the Nintendo Switch and that the Wii-U version of the game was put on hold indefinitely. Today, the person who leaked that news, is coming out to say that is no longer true.
Contrary to my past report on BOTW release date it is 100% coming at Switch launch in North America in March. Have seen finalised materials.

One thing that is interesting to note, however, is that Dale specifically mentioned the game would be ready for North American launch. It's possible either prior information came from a foreign source, or that the person who fed the information was just wrong.
There's also a chance Dale could be making this up completely, but she's been pretty solid with her leaks in 2016...so I can't knock her on making right with one of her wrong ones.
Ultimately I'm just glad to hear that Zelda: BOTW is 100% going to be ready at the Switch launch. I can't imagine Nintendo launching a console without at least one of their games alongside it!
