A popular drum-based rhythm game from the Eastern side of the world is making its way over to the Western world and this time, for the first time, it is coming to the Xbox platforms. Back in 2020, Bandai Namco brought the 2-pack adventure game version of Taiko no Tatsujin over to the states and was positively reviewed then. Available now in North America is Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and on Xbox Game Pass.
Players can drum along and ride into the rhythm with Taiko no Tatsujin’s iconic note characters, Don-chan and Katsu-chan, lighting their drumming spirit on fire. Players will be delighted while being challenged with performing an extensive library of over 70 songs, ranging from classical to popular hits including, Homura, Into the Night, and MEGALOVANIA. It even supports local multiplayer matches for up to two players. Players can reach euphoric levels of rhythmic synchronicity by performing cooperatively together or compete head-to-head for the highest score in Score Battle mode.
Taiko no Tatsujin is a long-running franchise from Bandai Namco and this is the first time any of their titles have reached the Xbox platform. If you are a fan of rhythmic games, then here’s your chance to try out something new!
