Rocket League is teaming up with Professional Wrestling's biggest outfit. Psyonix announced via Twitter that in addition to sponsoring the Smackdown Live exclusive PPV Backlash they will also be partenering with the WWE...but for what?

Presumably, we're going to see some WWE themed DLC coming to the game, but what exactly is unclear. Will we be seeing the addition of the WCW Monster Trucks from the 90s or perhaps more contemporary cars based on current WWE stars? Maybe, with Jim Ross recently announcing a new contract with the company, we could get some WWE style commentary with matches! Can you imagine scoring a goal and hearing Ross scream "BAH GAWD THAT MAN HAS A FAMILY,"!? It would be awesome. We'll be sure to keep you updated on details on this one as we learn them.
