Following a successful run on Switch, Playstation, and Steam, publisher Playism are releasing a new port of Kanawo’s adventure RPG Noel The Mortal Fate for the Xbox One and Microsoft Store.
The game, created by a solo developer in RPG Maker, was released in 2016 and received its English Steam release in 2018. Inspired by titles like the Fate series and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona, Noel The Mortal Fate follows the story of the titular Noel, a young woman who had dreams of being a celebrated pianist. Unfortunately, in a run-in with a devil, lost both her arms and her legs as a result of the deal.
Seeking revenge for her situation, Noel sets her sight on the man responsible, the Mayor of LaPlace. Fortunately for her, the devil involved in the deal is eager to assist her in her mission.
The console edition comes with an extra scenario, ‘Revenger’s Vacation’ bridging the gap between two arcs. Along with this, the new version comes with UI updates, visual updates on character portraits, a new lighting system, and additional conversations between characters.
Noel The Mortal Fate’s new release will be available on the Xbox One and for PC via the Microsoft Store from July the 26th. It is also available now on the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and PC via Steam.
