One of my favorite games from E3 2019, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Has finally received a release date! The Xseed published game is slated to hit PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on November 10, 2020. Developed by the 2 person team at Edelweiss, Sakuna is a compelling take on the action platformer and farming simulation genre. As the harvest goddess Sakuna, you must defeat vicious foes that threaten your new home. by exploring the surrounding regions you can defeat more monsters and bring better supplies back to your farm.
What truly caught my attention about the game was its fun use of platforming and combat. The action had a good feel to it and was a nice balance of difficult and approachable. Of course, this impression I hold for the game is over a year old at this point so who knows how much better it has gotten since I last demoed it!
