Universal Studios Hollywood just dropped the first bombshell announcement for Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026, and I can’t stop geeking out over it. The debut in-world experience will bring together two of my absolute favorite worlds: Scooby-Doo x Universal Monsters.
Yes, you read that right—Scooby and the gang are about to roll onto the Universal backlot, where they’ll face off against some of cinema’s most legendary monsters. For someone who has loved Scooby-Doo for as long as I can remember, this feels like a dream come true. The goofy, mystery-solving energy of Scooby and Shaggy mashed up with the eerie atmosphere of Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Wolfman? That’s pure brilliance. Honestly, I can’t think of a better pairing..And here’s the best part: this is just the first announcement. Universal has already teased that there are more reveals on the way as we get closer to April 2026. If Scooby-Doo x Universal Monsters is the opener, I can only imagine how massive the rest of the lineup is going to be.
