We all expected Konami to continue the Metal Gear Solid series post-Hideo Kojima, but I don't think anyone expected a follow up so soon! Coming 2017, Metal Gear Survive is a game that takes place in the timeline right after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.
Stick with me, this concept is only a bit weirder than the usual script.
So remember all the soldiers that got left behind when Boss and Ocelot escaped? Those people were transported to an alternate dimension where they have to fight against these weird zombie crystal people and maybe Metal Gear. It's just easier if you watch for yourself.
