Sennheiser Launches new 'Season of Giving' Charity Program

Audio brand Sennheiser has gotten into the holiday spirit and is partnering with 7 gaming-oriented charities across the globe to bring the gift of audio to those in need. In total, Sennheiser is donating 1,500 special editions of its GSP 305 gaming headsets worth over $164,000. The GSP 305 is a special Paladins themed version of the popular Sennheiser GSP 300 series that delivers great audio quality and a comfortable fit. The headsets will be split among the 7 charities including Child’s Play, Female Legends, Pink Orange, Gamer Aid, Gaming Aid, Special Effect, and Your Corps.

The holiday season is the time of year to spend quality time with family and friends. It reminds us of the importance of getting involved with, and giving back to, our communities. Gaming, and the amazing community surrounding it, has been a huge positive force and massive source of happiness for many. This holiday season, we’ve chosen to support a number of gaming-related charities that bring joy into people’s lives and help to make this season even more magical for them.
— Andreas Jessen, Senior Director of Product Management & Marketing at Sennheiser
For 16 years, Child’s Play has been working with the gaming community to help gamers to give back. We help normalize the patient experience for kids in over 180 hospitals worldwide by bringing them games and toys, while educating hospital staff on the therapeutic power of both. These headsets will allow hospitalized children to immerse themselves and talk to their friends while playing. We are so excited to share them with our network to empower kids through gaming.
— Travis Eriksen, Executive Director of Child's Play
