Calling all Mortal Kombat fans! If you’re itching to get your fix of Mortal Kombat 1 then don’t forget to sign up for the stress test! All you need for the stress test is a Warner Bros account, you will sign up on their website and then be able to join the list. The test will be available only for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. This is different than the Mortal Kombat 1 pre-order beta that was announced for August 2023. Its purpose is to put stress on the online infrastructure so they can prepare for the full release. You will have to sign up separately to gain access, even if you pre-ordered you are not guaranteed access.
During the test, players will have access to 1 vs. 1 online multiplayer as well as a limited single-player Klassic Towers mode against A.I. opponents. Currently, there aren’t any details for which characters will be available during the stress test but if you sign up for a Warner Bros account you should get details when they become available.
It is important to note that only players based in North America, Latin America, Brazil, and Europe will be eligible to participate. The date for the stress test has not yet been confirmed but be sure to sign up now so you will have your best chance at gaining access.
Sign up for the Mortal Kombat 1 stress test today! The title is also available for pre-order. If you pre-order you will gain access to the pre-order beta when available and you will get Shang Tsung as a playable character. Mortal Kombat 1 will be available on September 19th for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
