Blumhouse Games is teaming up with EYES OUT – the studio founded by Cory Davis (Spec Ops: The Line) and Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails) – to unleash something that looks like it was ripped straight from a fever dream. Their latest project, SLEEP AWAKE, has a brand-new demo live now on Steam!

This isn’t your standard survival horror – SLEEP AWAKE is billed as an immersive first-person psychedelic horror narrative. The game plunges players into the twilight space between sleep and death, where the last city on Earth is tearing itself apart in desperation to avoid “The HUSH” – the terrifying fate of vanishing forever the moment you close your eyes.

As Katja, you’ll navigate a crumbling world filled with deranged death cults, mind-bending puzzles, and a constant fight to stay awake. It’s the kind of horror where every corner could either reveal a clue… or break your brain.

And honestly, this is exactly my type of horror. I love weird, trippy games that get under your skin, and SLEEP AWAKE looks like it was made to do just that. I’ll be diving into the demo soon, and I couldn’t be more excited to see just how twisted this descent into madness really gets. Especially with Blumhouse Games’ current track record with me.
