Last year, I had the chance to test out SteelSeries’ absolutely amazing Arctis GameBuds ($199.99), which, to this day, are still the best earbuds I’ve ever used. The GameBuds have solidly become my daily drivers for music, phone calls, and even work. The sound quality and durability are unmatched. So you’d imagine my excitement when I heard that SteelSeries was putting out a Y2K-style color variant of these ladies with “Glorange”, a translucent housing with a bold hue of orange.
It cannot be overstated how amazing these earbuds look. I love that every once of this set oozes this beautiful Glorange color, from the case/charger, the earbuds, and even the dongle for 2.4 wireless. But that’s not even where it stops, because the lovely Glorange color is even intertwined in the rubber/silicone parts of the earbuds, such as the earpad thingies and the USB-C charging cable! They went for it with this variant of the GameBuds, and I can only hope that SteelSeries continues trends like this going forward!
