Fighting games have always been a major part of the gaming scene, whether we talk about their roots in arcades or even their presence in consoles today, there is no better way to play a fighting game than with a fight stick. Sony gave us a first look at Project Defiant during a State of Play earlier this year, but they have now revealed all the details related to the new controller in a new blog post.
The fightstick has a simple and clean layout and with the ability to work with PlayStation Link in tandem with their wireless headphones, all on a single cable, and even a second FlexStrike.
You can get a first look at the FightStick at Evo 2025 in Las Vegas from August 1st to 3rd. It is currently slated for a 2026 release date with no price mentioned yet, but hopefully we get more details on this sooner rather than later.
