Well, next-gen is becoming less of a future thing and more of the present reality. More game reveals are teased as time goes on and we have a firm idea of what to expect from the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5.

So what better time to sell some more PS4 consoles? The best-selling console of the generation likely has some leftover inventory. So PlayStation has released another (possibly one of the last) “Best Place To Play” trailer that showcases some of the best games on the current generation. From the battle royale and social phenomenon Fortnite to the recently-released PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima. And there are still some anticipated games like NBA 2K21 and Marvel’s Avengers.

When the newest toy is coming out on the market, it’s best for the old toy to make way.

So, gamers, revel in the nostalgia! Glory in the current-gen feels! Soak in the PS4 dominance in the console wars of the last seven years.

And buy more PS4s!

Unless you already have one. Or unless you’re saving up for the PS5. Or unless you don’t even like PlayStation.

There are a lot of reasons why you probably don’t need a PS4 right now.

But Sony isn’t going to shy away from getting some last-minute sales.
