Microsoft has recently announced that the zombie-survival RPG, State of Decay 2, by Undead Labs, will be released on May 22, 2018 for Windows PC, and the Xbox One. Currently, Microsoft revealed that State of Decay 2 will be available in two versions. First is a Standard Edition, which will be priced at $29.99. Furthermore, a more premium version, the Ultimate Edition will be priced at $49.99.
The Standard Edition of State of Decay 2 will only include the base game, while the slightly more expensive Ultimate Edition, will include the base game, the Independence Pack and Daybreak Pack DLCs (no release date for those as of now), and an early access to the game, which will commence on May 18th. So if you’re dying to check out the game before it gets released, this is the version for you. Lastly, the Ultimate Edition will include a copy of the State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition for Xbox One
State of Decay 2 will be an Xbox Play Anywhere game, this means that purchasing the game digitally, will let you access it on both the Xbox One and Windows 10. Furthermore, the game will be available as part of Xbox Game Pass. The upcoming game will feature a four-player, open world, co-op and will be set 18 months after the events of the first game. State of Decay 2 will revolve around the remaining survivors of an abandoned refugee camp. Check out Microsoft’s description of the game below:
