Legendary game developer Suda 51 (No More Heroes, Killer 7, Killer Is Dead) is confirming that one of his first games is finally getting a remake in the West. The Silver Case was exclusively released in Japan for the original Playstation and PC. VG247 reports the developer made the following statement...
“I am happy to announce that the long-awaited Silver Case HD remastered version will finally be available as promised,” said Grasshoppper Manufacture’s Suda 51 in a statement. “This title was originally released in 1999, but was never released outside of Japan until today.
“The English version will also be available, another promise made to you and will be on Steam, Playism, and other platforms.”
The game, which is point and click, features puzzles in which the player must discover and stop a serial killer running loose in Japan. The game is slated for a Fall release. See some footage of the game below.
