Gaming news has been all about Super Mario Odyssey as of late, and with good reason. The game has been getting scores of perfect reviews, and sales are through the roof. In fact, Nintendo has recently announced the game sold 2 million units in just 3 days.
For a reference of just how impressive that is, it took The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild a month to accomplish that same feat. While the game has similar critical acclaim, it's also worth mentioning that, at the time, it's sales figures matched close to the amount of total Switch's shipped. With now over 7 million Nintendo Switch consoles out in the market, it's only logical the numbers will climb higher with a first party Nintendo title coming out.
It really doesn't need to be said at this point, but once again this is great news for the Switch. Critics are happy, users are happy, and minus their shitty internet service, I can say I'm happy for the most part too. Can they keep things rolling? Does anyone see the Switch collapsing at this point? I want your thoughts.
