Developers Metalhead Software Inc and publisher EA Sports love to bring fans even deeper into the sports that they love. To do this they announced Super Mega Baseball 4! A continuation to the Super Mega Baseball series which brings the best parts about baseball with the signature humorous style that this series brings. For the first time, fans can play with more than 200 legendary larger-than-life baseball professionals. Players that fans might recognize, David "Big Papi" Ortiz, Jose Bautista, Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, and much more coming right along side other beloved Super Mega League All Stars. To showcase their huge lineup of players, baseball Hall of Famer David Ortiz is the franchise's first ever cover athlete.
Super Mega Baseball 4 comes with a wide array of new features across different game modes like Exhibition, Franchise, Pennant Race, Season, and Online Leagues. Some new features are like stated above the HUGE roster including over 200 baseball legends where you can play in a league of legends with teams organized by era, or mix things up with a Shuffle Draft which is a new feature that will allow players to draft both Legends and Super Mega All-Stars to create unique rosters. The title will be available on new platforms for the first time AND players will be allowed to play with all their friends through cross-play. To spice up some gameplay they listened to the community and added a new team chemistry system to add a whole new layer of strategy.
